The P6 outdoor LED display continues the all-weather design concept of the P8 and is specially optimized for the heat dissipation and protection needs of high-density lamp beads.The protection level is upgraded to IP66 in the front and IP55 in the rear (P8 is IP65 in the front and IP54 in the rear). Specific protection details:Interface protection: The power and signal line interfaces use military-grade waterproof aviation plugs (plug-in life ≥ 5000 times) + silicone double sealing rings, with a protection level of IP67, which can resist short-term immersion in water
Circuit protection: The PCB board adopts immersion gold process + vacuum glue sealing (P8 is coated with three-proof paint), and has passed the 1000-hour salt spray test without corrosion
Box sealing: The edge adopts "concave and convex bite structure + EPDM rubber sealing strip", and the wind pressure resistance level is ≥ 9 (wind speed 20.8m/s), which is better than the 8-level standard of P8, and is suitable for coastal typhoon-prone areas. The internal heat dissipation system is designed for high-density lamp beads: 8 sets of micro axial fans are integrated per square meter (P8 is natural air cooling), and the core component temperature rise is ≤±8℃ with the three-level heat conduction path of "lamp beads-PCB-aluminum box". Three redundant guarantees to eliminate the "defect risk" when watching at close range
In medium and short distance scenes, any minor faults (such as black screen and flickering of a single module) will be magnified. Therefore, the P6 led display is equipped with a triple backup mechanism of "power + signal + pixel", which has one more pixel-level protection than the P8:
1. Power backup: Every 2 modules share 1 set of backup power (P8 has 1 set per box). When the main power is abnormal, the backup power is switched within 0.005 seconds to ensure that the single module fault does not spread;
2. Signal backup: Adopting the "dual receiving card + ring network transmission" design (P8 is a single receiving card with dual lines), when the main receiving card fails, the adjacent card automatically takes over the signal to avoid the "strip black screen";
3. Pixel backup: Built-in "bad pixel intelligent compensation" algorithm, when ≤3 lamp beads in a single module are damaged, the system automatically calls the adjacent pixel color data for compensation, which is completely unrecognizable to the naked eye (P8 does not have this function and is suitable for long-distance viewing).
