1. LED display IP protection level requirements
Generally, outdoor LED display screens have a large installation area and are mostly installed in densely populated places. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the protection level of the display screen, especially in the southeast coastal areas where typhoons are frequently registered. Its design should consider many factors such as solid foundation of the steel structure, wind load, waterproof, dustproof, moisture-proof and so on. The protection grade should be IP6IP5 and above to extend the service life of the display screen and enhance the reliability.
2. LED display lightning protection standard
For lightning protection, the LED main body and shell should have good grounding measures, and the grounding form should be considered separately according to whether the display screen is installed independently or attached to the outer wall of the building.
At the same time, the integration of electronic components in outdoor LED display screens is high, and the sensitivity requirements for anti-interference are getting higher and higher. In order to minimize electromagnetic interference, lightning protection devices should usually be installed on the display screen and buildings.
3. Full-color LED display high temperature heat dissipation
Outdoor full-color LED displays will generate a certain amount of heat when they work. If the ambient temperature is too high and the heat dissipation is poor, the LED chips and related integrated circuits may not work properly or even be burned, which will make the LED display system unable to work normally. Outdoor full-color LED label displays should be equipped with cooling fans or air conditioners, especially for displays that need to work in high-temperature subtropical and tropical areas for a long time.
